Have you ever wondered how a helicopter works? I mean a drone with 4 propellors makes some sense but a helicopter only has 2! This was the major design feature we aimed to learn more about and replicate and here is a quick video showing off our final product
Helicopters are so complicated! In this video we will go in depth about our specific helicopter. The main spotlights are on the mechanical components and the decisions we made surrounding them. We will also be demonstrating how the mechanical, electrical, and coding components come together to create a fully functional Remote Controlled Helicopter
This poster goes into more depth on how our helicopter works and how it is controlled. It covers the mechanical design, the electronics, and steps its foot into the coding world using diagrams and explanations.
In this video we go over the engineering of the swashplate and how everything links together to make a working prototype. This goes into detail on the inner works of the swashplate prototype.
